Introducing HYDRO Acoustics Australia
This year, we’re particularly excited to unveil our latest innovation: the Underwater Acoustic Camera (UAC) under our HYDRO Acoustics Australia brand. This groundbreaking technology represents a first-of-its-kind passive 3D acoustic localisation system that transforms how operators detect and visualise sound beneath the surface.
The UAC integrates hydrophone arrays with optical imaging to enable real-time 2D/3D localisation of noise sources with pinpoint accuracy of less than 100mm, even in low-visibility and deepwater environments. This Australian innovation has been developed locally with proven trials and defence collaboration, making it ready for real-world applications across multiple sectors.
